Warehouse Rack Labels for Atlanta and Georgia Facilities
Country Innovation & Supply (CIS) is an industrial supplier based in Winder, Georgia. We make rack labels, aisle signs, and floor labels for distribution centers, 3PL warehouses, and plants across metro Atlanta and North Georgia. If you are opening a new building, relabeling a live operation, or tired of upper beam labels that won't scan from the floor, this page explains how we work and what we need from you to quote it. Product specs live on our main warehouse labeling page. This page is about getting a Georgia project done.

Rack labels, aisle signs, and floor labels for Georgia warehouses
Here is what we make for Georgia facilities. For sizes, materials, and full specs, see our warehouse barcode labels page.
Pallet rack beam and upright labels
Each label carries the location barcode and the human-readable code your pickers read. We can color labels by level and add arrows so an operator knows whether a code belongs to the slot above the beam or the one below it. Upright labels and multi-level totems help when several levels are scanned from one spot.
Long-range labels for upper levels
Upper beams are where cheap labels fail. Retro-reflective labels send the scanner's light straight back to the scanner, so an operator can read a high location from the floor or a lift. Plan on 10+ feet scan distance (typical for a long-range scanner), and size the barcode to the scanners you actually own. These labels are built for long service life.
Magnetic and freezer-grade options
Magnetic labels make sense where slotting changes and you want labels that move without leaving residue. For cold storage we use a freezer-grade adhesive or a magnetic backing, so labels stay put when the temperature drops.
Aisle signs, hanging signs, and floor labels
Aisle end signs show the aisle number and bay range. Overhead hanging signs mark zones and bulk storage. Floor labels cover locations that have no rack at all. All of it can follow the same numbering and color scheme as your rack labels.

A Georgia team, based in Winder
The CIS team that runs your project works out of Winder, Georgia, and serves facilities across Atlanta and the rest of the state. You get a supplier in your own state, one team from the location file through production, and real people who answer when you call 770-561-5285.
If you run more than one site, that matters too. CIS keeps stock in four nationwide stocking facilities, so a network of buildings can stay on one label standard.
Send us your layout or rack drawings and we will walk through the plan with you.
How a Georgia rack labeling project runs
- Scope. We start with your layout, rack types, scanners, and go-live date, from your drawings or a conversation.
- Location file. You send the file, or we build it from your rack drawings. The warehouse label installation guide covers both paths.
- Data check. Before anything prints, we can run the file through the CIS Label Data Validator to catch duplicates, gaps, and format errors. See how the data check works.
- Proof and sample scan. You approve a proof, and we scan sample labels so you know they read on your equipment.
- Production. We print your labels to the approved location plan.
- Installation. CIS offers project-managed installation. Tell us your go-live date and we will lay out the install plan for your site.
- Scan verification. Locations are scanned against your WMS before go-live, so problems turn up before inventory moves in.
We check your location data before anything prints
Duplicate codes, sequence gaps, and format errors are the reprints nobody budgets for. A duplicate turns into a pick error the day the labels go up. A gap leaves a real location with no label. Fixing either one after install means pulling labels off steel in a working building, then paying for the run again.
Getting rack labels right the first time is where the savings are. For Zion Solutions Group, a supply chain automation integrator, running their location data through the CIS Label Data Validator before print caught errors that would have meant about $15,000 in reprints. CIS can run your file through the CIS Label Data Validator, which runs 16+ automated checks, before production. See the full method and what it looks for.
Send us your label data file for a pre-print check.Facilities we label across North Georgia
- Distribution centers: High bays, long aisles, and a lot of upper-level scanning. Long-range labels and a clean numbering plan do most of the work.
- 3PL warehouses: Customers come and go, and slotting changes with them. Magnetic labels and a numbering scheme with room to grow save relabeling later.
- Manufacturing plants: Raw material, work in process, and finished goods often share one building. Clear zone signs and floor labels keep each area separate.
- Cold storage: Adhesive choice decides whether labels last. Use freezer-grade adhesive or magnetic backing, and plan when the labels go on.
- Parts and MRO storerooms: Shelving, bins, and small parts. Shelf and bin labels read at close range, tied to the same location logic as the rest of the site.
