Kitting and Co-Packing Services Nationwide
Labels packed with ribbons, and product set into die-cut foam inside boxes or cases. Industrial supplies, not food.
Quick answer
CIS kits and co-packs industrial supplies for customers nationwide. We pack thermal transfer labels and ribbons together, and we kit product into die-cut foam inserts in boxes or cases. For ISG, CIS die-cut and hot-melt laminated the foam and placed the inserts into watertight cases, saving $104,400 a year. We do not co-pack food or beverages. Same-day quote.

What CIS kits and co-packs
Labels and ribbons. Thermal transfer labels and thermal transfer ribbons, kitted and co-packed together.
Product in foam. Products set into die-cut foam inserts, packed in boxes or watertight cases.
Industrial kitting, not food co-packing
A note on the name: many co-packers package food and beverages. CIS does not. Our kitting and co-packing covers industrial supplies, such as labels, ribbons, foam inserts, and cases.
Labels and ribbons, packed together
Labels and the ribbon that prints them arrive packed together, so the right ribbon is at the printer when the labels are. Nobody has to hunt for a matching ribbon.
Match ribbon to label material
| Label material | Ribbon | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Paper labels and tags | Wax | General paper labels and tags |
| Gloss paper, synthetics, and films | Wax-resin | Labels where scuffing is a risk |
| Polyester and retro-reflective | Resin | Labels that see chemicals or heavy handling |
Match ribbon to printer
Core size, roll length, and ink side in or out vary by printer, so we need your printer make and model.
Match the label roll to the printer
Send us your core size, outside roll diameter, and wind direction, and we will check them against your printer.

Product in die-cut foam, in boxes or cases
CIS die-cuts the foam, laminates hot melt adhesive to it, and sets the foam inserts into boxes or watertight cases. That replaces spraying adhesive onto foam by hand. Hot melt laminating gives off no CFCs, unlike spray adhesive.

Case study: ISG
Before
ISG used open-cell foam that absorbed moisture and developed mold, oversized cases, manual foam cutting with temp labor, and temp workers spraying adhesive onto the foam by hand. It was costing ISG over $100,000 per year in materials, labor, and rework.
What CIS did
CIS die-cut closed-cell foam, hot-melt laminated it, and placed the inserts into watertight cases. That replaced the manual spray adhesive step and the manual foam cutting.
Results
- $104,400 a year in combined material, labor, and rework savings ($8,700 per month)
- Temp labor eliminated entirely
- Spray adhesives eliminated
